Question

Hi, I am moving in to a new house and we are looking in to adding a bathroom in the basement on a limited budget. There is a place to put the toilet in one room (where we do not really want to put it, but could) however the water-out pipe is a foot off of the ground and I was told that I would have to buy a $1000 thing to pump the water from the toilet up that. The place that we would like to build this bathroom (single sink, toilet, shower stall) is right next to the water sources (water heater, sump pump). I was hoping that I could possibly run some pipes over there and possibly just put the bathroom there. As you can probably tell I am a rrrreeeaaaallll novice and any help or advice is greaty appreciated.

Thanks,

Beginner needing help

Cool

Go to the "Build/Remodel" section above, look in Plumbing for detailed info on adding a bath, and you will see what is necessary.
It is not as simple as you may think, if the basement has not been rough-plumbed for a bath already.
Good Luck!
