Use of particle board for laminate countertop

I am in the process of making a laminate counter top and after purchasing and cutting up the wood it became apparent the 3/4" particle board has different finishes on each side. One is smooth and glossy and the other is rougher or course. The way it is described on the paper work is one Org , one Blk. I have no idea what side I should glue the laminate on and what does the Org Blk mean. Thanks for the help

I dont think it matters either way. Your contact cement will stick to either side.
