Slow Bath Drain

My dog (golden retriever) ran through the pond chasing some ducks and I had to put him in the tub to rinse the mud off of his legs (this was all before work of course).
The tub is draining very slowly now -- there was a lot of hair and dirt that came off of him.
How can I get to the trap to clear the hair out of the drain?
