Caulking around newly install bathroom vanity

I just had a a bathroom remodel but the vanity is not caulked around the wall. Should I caulk this area? One side does face the shower but there will be a glass partition installed to prevent water.

It really depends. Once caulked, it becomes a maintenance issue. If the gap is crooked, it sometimes looks better caulked. But you usually want to use a paintable caulk since the wall will need to be repainted someday.

If the vanity sits flush and there are no gaps or rough edges then maybe you don't need to. If your concerned about water getting behind then it depends if you have a backsplash or how messy the uses are.

Always the issue with caulk, once you start your kind of hooked and have to always maintain!

Thank you for the replies. I am only caulking around the left side since it faces the shower.

so I have another question. Where can I find a 3x60 backsplash for the top of the vanity?.

Where did the vanity come from, thats typ where the back spash is obtained. If not a granite shop can make one but will it match the counter top?
