Question Looking for a two piece range hood vent ...

Looking for a two piece range hood vent with a flange that I can properly flash with the tyvek under the vinyl siding. It seems all the vents I see are placed on top of the siding and Caulked. Unless there is a reason they dont seem to make them this way...

Try looking for a standard vent, don't look for a vinyl siding vent. You can use a standard vent and mount through trim stock then trim around it with J channel.

By trim stock are you refering to something like a PVC mounting block?

You can use a mounting block if you want. Trim stock is the aluminum sheet material, formed to shape as needed and used to trim around a window and fascia. You can also cut a piece of the material and put on the wall sort of like flashing. Run the vent through the middle, then trim a picture frame with J channel for the vinyl siding to go around it.
