Question

The contractor remodeling my bathroom has put up sheetrock around the tank of my toilet, not behind it. I imagine that when I mention this to him tomorrow I'll be told that the tank is to close to the wall for him to get sheetrock behind it. Two things concern me: 1. part of the lid of the tank is actually under the sheetrock, 2. he plans to start putting tile on the walls tomorrow. Having never had my bathroom redone before, I need to know if this is a common practice, or am I in trouble?

Take a measurement off the wall to the bolts that hold the toilet to the floor, tell what this is? I may have a solution for this.
