Kitchen cabinet hinges

Getting ready to re-do cabinets, ordered cabinet doors same size as the old ones, they have exposed hinges, mid 70's.
Thought about going to hidden hinge style.
Doors will have a 1/4" overlay of opening, the face frame of cabinets are 1" thick, most hidden hinges with that small of overlay that I have found only work with a max 3/4" thickness.
Anyone know if I have to stick with the traditional style exposed hinge or know of a vendor with something that works?
Open to a self close or a soft close style. Thanks for any info.

Thanks for the link, I think with the narrow overlay and thick face edge this style or any other exposed style will be my only option, The cabinets were made by Haas, seems like the 1" thick face frame is very odd size.
