toilet flange

I need to replace my old toilet flange due to severe rust. I would like suggestions on how to remove the old flange without hurting my pipes.

Mike,
If you can get to your flange and toilet drain line from underneath, you can cut it out (hacksaw) and replace it (glued fittings) with ABS (black plastic) flange and drain line or PVC (white plastic) drain line.
If you have a crawlspace or basement, maybe you can.
Good Luck!
