When new greenboard is installed in the bathroom what steps should be taken to paint it. Is there special preparation?

Hi, When I install greenboard I treat it just like sheetrock, just prime and paint.

how do I install a fan?

Im working on my bathroom but I am having trouble on finding information on installation for a bathroom fan.If any one has suggestions please help.

I have clean the drain o a central air with air and water and it leaks outside of the vents even after cleaning plase explain why water come out of the vents?
