Toilet tank bolts leaking

I recently removed and replaced my toilet for a new floor installation. After reinstalling the toilet with the same bolts to connect the tank to the base, there was a leak at each bolt. Purchased replacement bolts with washers and reinstalled the tank. The replacements have 2 sets of nuts. I installed the bolt inside the tank with a metal washer next to the bolt and a rubber washer next to the tank, then on the outside of the tank there is a nut. Then the bolt continues through to the base of the toilet where there is a rubber washer, a metal washer, and the final nut. I have tried tightening these as much as I can, but am worried about cracking the porcelain. Any suggestions? The leak is very slight -- one drop every few minutes, but it is annoying nonetheless.

THANKS!

Cool

Dry it all out good, loosen the bolts, smear the old D-I-Yer standby (clear silicone caulk) on the dried rubber washers. Should do the trick.
Good Luck!
