I am getting ready to start a bathroom remodeling job. I need to remove an old tub and was wondering if anyone has experience cutting one in order to make removal easier. It is a lovely blue, seems fairly heavy and was made in the late 50's or early 60's. My other question concerns the tub surround. I plan to put in cement board around the tub and a Corian tub surround. Does this sound ok? Any input would be appreciated.
THanks,

Nick

Removal of old bath tub

Don't forget to put on your safety goggles. Most forum posters recommend a sledge hammer.
