Bathroom Tile

I HATE THE TILE IN MY BATHROOM! IT IS MINT GREEN AND YELLOW WITH A STRIP OF PENQUINS RUNNING RIGHT THROUGH THE WALL.
I THOUGHT I HEARD SOMEWHERE THAT YOU CAN PAINT OVER EXISTING TILE. IS THIS TRUE? IS IT HARD TO DO? WHERE WOULD I FIND OUT HOW TO DO THIS?

Painting bathroom wall tile

There are paints available for painting tile. Check at your local paint or home center. The glaze on ceramic tile is kiln fired at very high temperatures to product a very hard and scratch resistant finish. Painting of tile is therefore not recommended from the standpoint of long-term durability, particularly on floors.
