Question Bath in basement

I am contemplating putting a powder room in my basement. Currently there is no "roughed in plumbing". I have a septic system and the main drain exits the house at about 6' from the basement floor. I saw a pump unit that a toilet sits on at Lowes - are these any good? I would also like to install a laundry sink and drain the clothes washer into it. Can I use 1 pump for solids and liquid waste? How does the pump get vented? Thanks in advance for any info.

If you will need to pump the waste out of the basement to get it to your septic system, hire a licensed plumber to rough in the system for you. There's a lot more involved than just a pump, and it IS NOT a diy project.

I'm also putting in a basement bathroom. Have a plumber do it. I have been able to do just about anything so far but that is out of my league. Unless you're sure, let the experts do it.
