Basement Bathroom Blues

I'm going to install a bathroom in my basement. The main septic line is about 7' above the basement floor. So, I realize that I need a sewage ejector. I've looked at so many, and I'm just not sure of the way to go. Any recomendations? I'm going to have a sink & shower run to it as well. Is this something I can do? Do I need a professional?

Thank you!

Rob.

Installing sewage ejector

The system will have to meet local building codes and standards. Check to see what is required before proceeding. A reputable plumber should be aware of local codes and installation and venting requirements. Get at least 3 bids from licensed, insured contractors. Go to www.plumbingworld.com/sewage.html and www.hydromatic.com for helpful info about sewage ejectors.
