Question tub/shower doors

I have a new house. I am going to install doors on my fiberglass tub/shower stall. I have done this before with no problems. This time however, I noticed that the top of the fiberglass enclosure is one inch wider that down at the tub!!!! Can I install a standard sliding glass door set up? Do I need to shim? What can be done without it looking sprung and leaky???

A standard door set isn't going to work for you without problems (like leaks!) Go to a local glass shop and they should be able to get a door set that will work for you. But you will have to provide them with some specific details about this opening. Talk to them first and write down their questions so you can provide the answers they need.

This 1" difference in the opening at the top and bottom-- is that a 1/2" taper on each end, or is it a 1" taper on just one end? I have never seen a stall BUILT like this, but I have seen them INSTALLED like this. (It was due to the wall framing being 1" out of plumb.)
