shower intstall in existing powder room over slab construction

I would like to enlarge a half bath into a full bath by adding a stall shower. The room is on the ground floor of my bi-level home which sits on a slab. I intend to enlarge the room which shares a common wall with the laundry room. My question is, can I raise the floor under the new stall shower and run the drain to a clean out that currently hides under the washer in the laundry. There is a threaded plug there now.I don't see another way to access the drainage that is burried in the slab. I'm open to any suggestions.
Thanks MARTINI

Cool

I'm assuming that the washer drain hose is hooked into a standpipe above that clean-out.
There will be a trap buried in the slab beneath it.
You should be able to run the shower drain directly through the wall to it.
You need to raise the shower to allow 1/4" of slope per linear foot from the shower drain to the clean-out connection.
I'm not a pro plumber, but that's what I would do.
Should work o.k.
Good Luck!

What Mike suggested may work, but it certainly isn't up to code. The shower needs it's own trap, and vented drain line. You really need to cut into the slab and install the drain there. You can tie the shower vent to the washing machine vent, and the shower drain to the washing machine drain DOWNSTREAM from the traps of each drain.
