Question Sliding Shelves

We have put in a new tub and want to install sliding shelves in a built in closet space in the bathroom. No idea what kind of hardware/ etc we should buy - looked at the 'sliders' (?) used for drawers but not sure that that is what we should use. There won't be a door - so the shelves will be open. i assume they should be wood shelves, but maybe wire, or something else??

Thanks for any help/advice.

Nellie

Check the vinyl-coated wire organizer stuff at your local home center; might find something that fits the bill and it's very d-i-y friendly.

Blum or Amerock drawer slides will work just fine for making roll out shelves, if you decide to do the wood (or melamine) shelves. Got about 2 dozen of them in my house. White epoxy finish, 100# load rating, self-closing, ... They work fine for many years.
