trendy concrete floors

I want a concrete floor in my bathroom and concrete backsplashes for my tub. (like those neat, stained restaurant floors that are everywhere) How do I do it? My floors are stripped down to the plywood base. Do I remove the toilet first and cement underneath or just cement around it? Also how do you achieve the stained, chemical look like the restaurants?

Thanks so much for any advice!

Interesting. I checked out the link - and it looks kinda cool, but I have never even heard of it or seen it anywhere. I must not go to any "neat" restaurants!

Smile I did it, it is not difficult

The fellow I had contracted with to do my floors did not show up, so I got on the Internet and read, and ordered product from Superstone and did my own floors to great success--see at
