Reinstall Towel Racks

I have a couple of towel racks in my children's bathroom that need to be reinstalled due to my young boys pulling them out of the wall. The bathroom is wall papered so I need to install in the same exact spot as current but drywall is damaged. Can anyone help?

If the hole is not too big and if the flange on the towel bar will cover the hole, there is a way. There's a type of drywall fastener that works on holes that have gotten "stretched". Unfortunately I don't remember what it's called. It's not a molybolt and not one of those little plastic things. It's made of metal, folds up to go into the hole, and pops open as soon as it's through. Comes in different sizes. At the hardware store, it hangs out in the same area as the other drywall fasteners.

You put your screw through its middle, fold it up, push it thru, position it so its feet have a piece of drywall to brace on, and tighten the screw. Sounds a little strange I know, but it works.
