Talking replacing bathtub wall

Both of my bathrooms have the same hard plastic walls. In the back bathroom the walls have started coming off. They were placed on drywall. We want to replace them but, want to the use the best and most affordable alternative. I don't mind the hard plastic panels, however, I want something that will not come off the walls again.

Please help us, we are new homeowners....

Talking TILES...TILES....TILES

In my opinion, there's nothing more durable, efficient and cost-effective method for bathroom wall than tiles.
