weatherstripping

My steel security door needs the weatherstripping replaced. The only way it can be done is to unscrew a metal piece on the bottom of the door , rethread it with weatherstripping and screw it back on the door. I can't get the screws out. I've tried Liquid Wrench, household oil, Pepis Cola, a screwdriver,a power screwdriver, and a screwdriver bit in my power dill. They are stuck in there tight. The screwheads are beginning to wear and I'm afraid to do anything else that may strip them. I called the company where I purchased the doors three times and no one will return my calls. I will appreciate any advice. Thanks

Check your local hardware store for a tool called an 'Easy Out'. It's sepcifically designed to remove screws such as you describe.

They come in different sizes, so check the size of the screw before your go.

Since you obviously know the make of the door, find out who sells it locally and go through them for replacement parts.
