Door on concrete floor?
I am puting a small entrance on the side of our house. It will be on top of an existing concrete patio.
Question: I will install a prehung door. How does the door sill work? Is the sill screwed into the concrete? Does it 'have' to be attached at all? The door frame, as the norm, will be attached to the vertical studs of the wall. Is this enough strength to keep the door sturdy?
Thanks.

Attaching to the sides is enough unless it's a 6' wide door unit.....even then you probably don't need to bother....it isn't done on a wood floor either.
BUT do run a couple beads of caulk under the sill when you make the final set in place to fasten as a water and air seal.
