Double action spring hinges

I purchased double action spring hinges, they came with NO instructions. I don't have a clue looking at these how they mount. Do you have any illustrations or directions you can help me.

I'm not sure without being able to see what you have. But, you may try going to your local hardware store and talking to someone in the hardware dept. Good Luck.

Entry Door Surround

We've just had our house vinyl-sided. The old entry door-header was rotted and needed replaced. We weren't sure what to do, so we had the installers put up new wood (non-decorative) and wrap with aluminum. Needless to say--this isn't going to cut it. I know Alcoa and some British companies make decorative "surrounds" (fiberglass???) that can be installed. My question is where can I find these--online with prices, or what should I expect to pay for somethin like this. I've attached a sample so you know what I'm talking about. THANKS!!!Read More
