Question foggy windows

Is it possible to just replace the glass in foggy windows without replacing the whole window?

YES! Call a glass shop and have them come out and measure for new IG units. They will have to order them. In about 2 weeks, they will be out and replace them. Would be a great time to ask about upgrading to low-E (or low-E squared) glass. Doesn't cost that much more, but you WILL see a significant reduction in your heating and cooling costs. (If you notice the difference, which you will, it's significant!!)

Lefty, the only problem with replacing with Low-E is that it will have a slight tint and the existing ones will be clear.

TOUCHE, Johnam. Yes, a low-E or low-E squared coating will add a "slight" tint to the windows. But, that tint, especially from the inside looking out, isn't going to catch your attention nearly as much as the 10% to 20% that it is saving you on your utility bill will!!
