Loewen awning window

I need to replace the glass on a Loewen awning window. Could anyone provide any general idea how to remove the window?

The window was installed in 1982. I understand how the handle attachment (pushes window in and out, unfastens...there is a snmall lever).

My problem is with the 2 tracks on the frame of the window. I don't see what I would call 'screws', it looks instead like flat bar with holes in them. I'm sure the window slips out, I'm just stumped how to get it off.

Any help appreciated.

Most awning and casements ( which uses about the same hardware) have a sliding section of the sash opposite the operating hardward side. They usually slide on a metal track, like you're seeing. Once you take the handle side loose, the sash just slides off the track....downward in the case of an awning window....there MAY be a stop screw or something to keep it from sliding off...Andersen uses that methdod.......and that has to be removed to allow it to slide off.
