Hi, all window companies will make or order your Vertical windows for you, they will also come and measure up for you as well, this service is normally free, you just tell them that you want the windows supply only then you fit them yourself, but make sure that the area you want to fit these windows into will take the extra weight also that the reveals that the windows will be fitted to have sufficent depth to take Vertical sliding windows as the framing to this type of window are quite deep approx between 90mm
to 120mm depending on the make, also make sure that they are double glazed and thermally broken if the windows are to be in Aluminium, although you can get single glazed V/S's if the rest of the enclosure is single Glazed, also remember that if the windows are less than 800mm from the floor to the glass you must make sure that safty glass is fitted this can be in tempered glass or a laminate your window company will advise you if you ask them. I hope this helps a little, Handyman
