Any Ideas?--- I have 10 yr old Peachtree Patio door, faces the west - and it leaks rain when wind blows from west. leaks both on the door that moves and the stationary door. is there a way to fix this?
the threshhold is adj for weather/temps- but only on the door that swings open. the rain is blowing in under the door, ie at the threshold.

Hi Jenice, well there are many face fitted weather strips available on the market, there are those made especially for wooden doors with a rubber or brush seal along the bottom, these just screw onto the bottom of the outside of the doors with the brush touching the floor just, but there are other types available as well these are screwed to the exsisting threshold with a corresponding seal screwed to the underside of the door leaf when the door closes the both seals meet and form the waterproof seal for the threshold, go to your local wood merchant for more advice or contact your local window company, I hope this helps a little, Handyman

Just as an outside chance, the accumulation of water could be coming in UNDER the threshold if the deck/porch is at the same level as the bottom of the threshold. This would mean sealing from the outside, even if it means removing a run of siding.

Thumbs up

Peachtree doors have a weather striping on the bottom of the door panel that will wear out over time. often within 5 years. A New peice of weather strip can be obtained at The Home Depot for about 7 bucks.
