Question

We are looking to replace the windows and exterior doors on our home as well as have the rooms painted.

Will replacing windows cause "damage" to the interior. Should I replace the windows first and then paint??

Hi Jennifer, yes I would definatly replace the windows and doors first, even though most window fitters do their best not to cause damage it does invariably happen, plaster falls off the internal reveals, the heads on the windows sometimes fall off, there is a lot of dust in some cases but even in the easiest of installations dust will occure, but these are exstream cases, it does happen, so wait untill your windows and doors are fitted and made good then when your happy with the finish of the new installation then repaint not before or you might be redoing it a second time, I hope this helps a little, Handyman
