Question

Recently I removed door casing during a minor renovation. The renovation did not involve the door directly, the casing was removed as a precaution. The door operated fine until the casing was replaced using new nails and the old nail holes. Now the door is a little too snug. It opens and closes but requires a bit more effort than it did before. What happened and what can I do?

Where does it pinch? When you removed it were there any shims? If so, have they been replaced?

You might try following the directions that I gave [email protected] on hanging a door.

It sounds like it needs a little attitude adjustment.
