windows all around

I have had siding put on my home and didn't do the windows. Now I am interested in putting in new windows. I found that alot of my windows don't seal very well and air gets in during the winter. Do they sell windows to fit all sizes of frames and how hard are they to put in? Should I experiment with one of the smaller windows in the back of the home to ensure that I do it right?

Yes, you can easily replace your windows. The type of windows you want are what are called tilt ins. Some places call the replacement windows, or slip ins. It kind of depends on where your are from. These types of windows (window inserts) are custom made for your frames. They are very good windows.
There is one problem though. It is best if you have whoever you buy your windows from to come out and do the measuring of your existing windows. The reason is that these windows will be custom made from your openings, and if there is a measurement mistake, you have absolutely no recourse.
If a company measures them and they don't fit, they have to eat them not you. I would go to a window company or lumber yard to have this done. Home improvement stores will not come out. It takes about three weeks to get them, but very easy to install from the inside. Your existing frames will not be disturbed. Good Luck
