Installing exterior window trim
Trying to finsh off my project, two questions:
1) Should exterior window trim have mitered corners or does it not matter?
2) does the drip cap mount above the window then the trim or the trim then the drip cap then the siding?
Thanks for the help

Small exterior trim like 2" wide "brickmoulding" is generally mitered. Large, wide trim on older windows was generally not mitered. It's up to you.....it's your house.
Drip caps mount on top the window moulding, then the siding goes on top of that. Cap is made in a "Z" sorta, turned on it's side.
