Large hole in door frame

The bracket that allows my storm door to close slowly has ripped off the door frame. The frame seems to be some kind of cheap plastic. It's left a large, hollow hole and I'm concerned about bugs nesting in it and further erosion. (I rent, and repairs are slow to happen.)
How can I patch this?

Never saw a plastic door jamb.......but I "guess" you could use some auto body bondo....

Personally, if it wasn't my property, I be on the phone to the owner.

Hi all: I've got a 1975 NC built house with strange, to me, looking windows. Upper sash is about half the size of the lower and these are big, 36x72, windows. Lots of seal leakage so they got to go. Tn..Andy do you have a recommended contractor for South east Asheville, NC area? I've got 3 mullion and an additional six of the large windows with about 9 additional windows. How to fix warped front door?

Does anyone know how I show go about fixing a warped door. The main door at my townhome is slight warped in the middle part where the locking mechanism is. As a result, I have to against the door when entering, and pull against the door when leaving to get the locking mechanism to go into the hole. How can I unwarp this door? Can I just pull it off the hingers and try unwarp it by bending it the other way? Thanks, thatlostboyRead More
