Question Dark Green Vinyl windows....

Hi,

I have ordered an Anderson 400 series slider and a window with wood inside and DARK green outside...these open to my screened in porch so they will never get any sunshine.
I would like to put these windows...wood inside and DARK GREEN vinyl outside all around my house......
Will this dark color stand up to the sunlight?
I know the vinyl for houses are lighter for a reason....have heard dark colors get a oily residue look to them....

Any help out there??????

Thanks, Terrill

I'm surprised any mfgr. is making any color other than white and tan.

As long as the slider and window are under a screened porch and never get any direct sunlite, the dark color will be fine. Just don't install this color in an area where the window will get direct sunlite.

Dark colored frames in direct sunlite heat up too much and the vinyl dries out. This is probably the residue that you are referring to.
