2 solid core doors in 1 jamb/frame

im building a recording studio in my basement, and for the entrance to the main tracking space i need to have 2 doors to block the sound from bleeding into the control room.

is it ok to have 2 solid core doors in one door jamb/frame?

on the prehung doors ive seen they appear to have room for another door. any help would be appreciated.

Sure -- it's done all the time in motel rooms. You may have to rip the door stop or put an extension on the jamb. Also, you will need to plan the hardware accordingly -- can't use regular door knobs -- there isn't room between the doors for the handles.
