I assume you mean a sheetrocked arch in the doorway ?

Take a pc of 1/2" plywood the width of your studs ( probably 3 1/2") and however long you need to make the arch you want in the doorway width you have......probably looking at 5-8' long.

Bend the plywood in the "arch" you want in the doorway, trim off the excess length if any, the fasten to the side jambs of the doorway. Now fill in some short blocking from the top of the doorway down and nail or screw thru the plywood into the ends of these blocks.....blocks will need to be cut on the plywood end to roughy match the "curve" of the arch.

You now have the framework for the arch. Sheetrock over, and get a flex plastic corner bead for the arch part.....they make these just for curved corners........finish the sheetrock and you're in biz.

You might check down in Walls/Ceilings with AwesomeDell, as he is more of a sheetrock specialist I think.....I've seen it done in a bunch of houses, and done it a few time myself over 1/2round windows, but that's the extend of my experience.

I've done a few arches just like Andy said -- the 1/2" plywood to form the radius of the curves, the blocking, etc. But I have used 1/8" luan plywood on the inside of the jamb simply because you can moisten it and get it to bend really easily. Then the plastic corner bead, then the sheetrock mud -- you're in business.
