Question Garage door window

I have a metal garage door w/ window at the top... Someone has shot one of the windows w/ a BB gun and the window has spiderwebbed. I have no idea how to take the old window out and replace it w/ a new one. I'm not sure how to release the molding around it.

Is it the kind with the rounded corners and black rubber moulding holding the glass in ?

It has square corners w/ white rubber around it. I'm not sure how to get to the window to replace it.

Usually, the rubber is a sorta "H" stuff with one part of the opening on the metal and the other holding the glass.

IF the glass is already trash, I'd tape it up REAL good with duct tape or similar on both sides and take a hammer to it. Once you get the old glass out, the rubber will pull right out.

With the new glass, soak the rubber in some hot water for 10 min or so to soften it, then fit it around the glass and work it into the hole with some small screwdrivers to flex the rubber over the opening. CAREFULLY.

You can also use the "string" method using in installing auto glass with this type rubber. Run a string aroung the groove in the rubber going in the metal, and once you get it started, you pull the string and it flexes the rubber as some else on the inside pushes against the glass.....this is one of those methods you sorta have to see done once to get the hang of it though....
