Patio Door Trim

Patio Door Trim
[Can anyone tell I'm finishing my basement?]
I started to do the trim around my patio door downstairs and I ran into a few questions.
I have no trouble with the casing trim.
However, the frame-side of the door needs trim, too and I was thinking mullion casing-- 1/4" X 2".
I actually need something that's 3/4" X 2", so I can cover up the gap between the door jam and the frame, but I haven't seen anything like it anywhere.
What other options do I have to trim off the interior of the frame?

Sounds like you need an extension jamb........
I take it the plane of the wall your casing would sit on is out farther than the door jamb ? .......lot of times that is the case with a patio door.....their frames aren't as thick as the wall, so there is an inch or two from the wall to the door.......especially if you have an extra thick wall like a basement wall.....
TO get a 3/4 x 2" pc, you generally have to take a wider pc of lumber and rip it out of that.....it may not be something you find "off the shelf" at the lumber yard. Table saw or steady hand with a circular saw required.
