new windows

we have an older house probably 1940's. in the next few weeks I am going to get an estimate to replace all the windows in the house and get vinyl siding. My question is when they come through and rip out the old windows and put new in, do they usually redo the window sills inside. is this part of the install. I was wondering because right now our exiisting window sills our terrible and i want to know if they usually just reuse the existing or do they do new. any help thanks.
