doors warping/shifting

new-ish construction. less than a year old. hollow core, 32 inch doors. I have 3 bedroom doors and 2 bathroom doors. Some of the doors are starting to rub on the top frame, some of the latches are not hitting the 'hole' preventing them from latching, and some of them are bowing real bad...(the bottom of the door hits the stop before the top..varying 1/2 to 3/4 inch). Im assuming this is not normal but what causes this?

It's due to the house settling. It happens with every new house, but more with some than with others, for a variety of factors.

Cure is to pop the casings off of the doors -- both sides of both jambs, and both sides of the top -- and reshim the doors so that they fit properly. You'll probably have to cut the nails that are holding the jambs to the studs in order to do that. Start with securing the hinge side.
