Doors??
Fixing up old Modular home.
Problem#1- New Door jam in Bedroom -it's wider than the walls.. can I fix this without purchasing new door?
Problem #2- Other bedroom doors (that came with the house) will not shut ... there is about a 1/4 inch gap on the hinge side, hinges look tight, maybe wrong hinges??? Do you think we need new hinges or cut the door?? Trying to save money, doors are in good shape but just won't shut... HELP!!! Thanks for any advice.

Hello, Problem one. Cut the jamb to correct width. Use a table saw or if your good a skill saw. If already mounted you can use a jig saw or saws all or a plane.
Problem two. hinges could be mounted backwards. When closed both leafs of the hinge should touch each other. Remove a hinge off one door to check.
