How do I remove a Pella Slidder temporarily

I have a Pella sliding door. Looking out from inside the house, the left pane is fixed and the right door is the slider with the screen being on the inside. I want to take the door off/out to install a floor lock. How do I remove the slidder without damage so that I can put it back?

There are so many good lock systems available that can be installed WITHOUT removing the slider, why would you want to remove it and risk having the re-installation leak??

You mean the slider isn't meant to be removed easily and replaced without screwing up installation? It's not like a double hung casement window?
