Window install price

I have to remove old wooden windows and relace with vinyl retro fit starting from the studs can anybody tell me what the going rate for install is windows I already have

I think this will depend on where you live, the size of the window, type of window and a whole bunch of other criteria. I will need more information to be able to answer your question.

Unless you have dry rot, I wouldn't remove the wooden windows down to the studs.Just remove the window itself (leaving the casing) and order windows to fit your casing.Most wood windows have a good slope to them at the sill so you will need to add wood to the exterior side under the new window for support.You should have wood that you removed in the first place that should fit perfect.Doing it this way should make the window more of a stock size (thus less money spent) by removing to the studs it will be bigger than stock ( meaning custom size and more money)

Remember the more work that needs to be performed the more money spent.

can't help on the install price, varies from place to place. Here in eastern Washington labor is approximately $50.00 an hour 2 to 4 hours a window.
