Door that would not close-stuck at the bottom

I need serious help. I am moving out from my rented house and one of my housemate's room door cannot be close. ( i think he slam it too hard everytime). The door is ok on the upper end but get stuck at the bottom (edges) of the frame and we have to use some force to keep it shut.
any idea how to fix this without too much hassle?

check the screws in the hinges, if lose , doors can act like that.
If screws are striped, remove the striped screw, pound a toothpick in the hole and reinstall the screw.

Another thing that could have happened, tweaked ( bent ) a hing.

Measure the daylite opening at top and at the bottom, are they the same?
constant slaming can also make a nail back out of the jamb causing the daylite opening to change.Hammer and a block of would can fix that.
