Broken Window!
Hi!
I'm new here..love the place so far!! We just found a new apartment...cute..cheap but needs a lil work. The agreement was we would get lower rent to do the repairs ourselves so we accepted! There is a window (technically 1/2 a window) that needs to be repaired (previous renters dog broke the window). It's a typical window I guess....6 section window w/ metal bars....really its only 2 panes of glass tho, the bottom one is the one thats broken, along w/ the dividing metal bars. What would be the best way to go about fixing this? New window? Replace the glass? HELP!

I have a few questions first.
Is the window insulated glass?
is it a slider?
the broken metal, is it face applied or part of the frame, and what part of the frame if it is.
Is this an OLD window? and do you see a brand name stamped on it?
