Expandable Foam?

Did you use expandable spray foam in the can?

If so you shouldn't have done so and it tells you right on the label not to use it around doors and windows...

(But don't feel too badly because I shut myself out of my own house using it that way once... )

If it is expandable foam, you need to chisel it out after it dries and use only some lightly back fiberglass if anything afterward.

NO, you need to remove the foam. They make a non-expandable foam ( that you should have used ) . If you have a sheetrock saw ( looks like a big knife ) you can use that to cut on both sides of the foam and just push it out. It's not that hard and doesn't take long.
