Bio fold door
I measured the door way before i bought the door, i thought that maybe i just measured wrong since it was only about 3/4 of an inch off from my measurements. its the closets size that i could find. i thought about sawing it to make it fit, but my husband said that i can't do that because it is hollow. so i am wondering what i can do.

th_r_gal,
I'm assuming (since you are talking about "sawing") that the doors you bought are wider than the opening. Bi-fold means that you have 4 doors (8 sides) to play with -- take about 3/32" off of each side and you'll be fine.

th_r_gal,
I know it's been awhile. Got it figured out?
What direction are you too big in? Height or Width?
If it's height, yes you can saw it. directions are available on the doityourself.com homepage. 3/4 may be into the hollow part of the door. That's OK just salvage the old block that you just cut out or put a new one in. a 2 x 2 planed down to 1 1/8" and then cut to length (do it in that order for ease of handling) would work.
If it's too wide, Lefty's suggestion is the only thing I can see--but what a pain! You'll need to clamp on a guide for your saw to make the cuts reasonably straight.
