We would like to install bifold doors in the closets in our basement. The problem we are having is finding a proper fit. The one closet is 78 inches high, not to bad except finding a 77in door. The other is in need of serious help; it is only 72in at its lowest point. W bought doors thinking we could trim them down, forgeting the lowest point. But after looking at them I dont think it is possible. Is there any manufactuer that customs makes doors for a reasonable cost? Or any one who can pass on directions for constructing on myself? Any help is appreciated. Thankyou :confused:

my backyard entry is currently very tight. it is an inswing right in front of the stairs to go to the basement, and adjoining it the stairs to go up. when leaving the house from the inside. there is practically no space since the door opens in and the stairs to go down are right behind the person. I see it as quite unsafe and someone could actually fall back so I am considering buying an outswing door instead. Can anyone think of a reason not to have an outswing door, besides perhaps security? thanks polo
