Installing french doors and window
I want to install french doors to seperate the living room into an office. There is currently an arch way opening to the living room. I thought I could put a window (half moon shape) on the top and french doors in. Where is the best place to learn how to do both of these? Thanks

No matter what you install in the opening, you're looking at stripping it back to the rough opening. The arch that is there is pretty much just 'smoke and mirrors' -- the rough opening is a rectangle, with square corners. If you want the arched window above the french doors, you'll have to order the window to fill the width of the door and to fill the height above the door without altering the header. Probably best to let the guys from the glass shop come out and do the measuring for the window. And you will need a sill under the window that is substantial enough to support it -- the the header of the french doors -- probably a 1X -- isn't going to be enough.
