Threshold question
I have installed 3/4" hardwood flooring in my home. The Front door and entrance door to the garage open fine, my problem is I would like to pu rugs in front of these doors, I looked and don't seem to see any way to raise the threshold. The house was built in the mid seventies, is it possible that these door's wouldn't have an adjustable threshold? If so what are my option?

highly doubtful if it has an adjustible thresold if built in the 70's. Even if they did the adjustible thresold does not function to give more clearance under the door.
If I'm understanding you correctly after the new flooring was installed the bottom of the door is now very close to the flooring and there's not enough room under the door to install a rug without the door hitting it?
You could probably just cut a little off the bottom of the door and look into adding an aftermarket sweep to help seal the bottom of the door. Otherwise, it'd be some work, but there's usually enough room in the rouogh opening for the door you could try to remove all the screws/nails holding the door in place and shim the entire pre0hung door unit up. It might only gain you 1/2" at most but dependng on what you have now that might just be enough so you can install the rug.

Only if you have a wooden door can you do as IHI suggested.
Otherwise you cannot cut down a steel or fiberglass door.
You might better consider removing the hardwood and installing a thinner floor finish behind the doors to allow for a carpet to be installed.

I was just baseing it off an assumtion that it was wood, around here anything built in that era was a wood entry door
Alot of the spec houses even had hollow core entry doors installed if you can believe that
