Angry Front Door Problem

We just moved in 2 months ago. The house is 11 years old. Every time it rains there is water leakage between the storm door and the inside door. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do.

Thanks

On the frame of the storm door the top part should act as flashing and keep the rain out, if not you will have to fabricate your own.

hi, like Frank said, you can mount a piece of roofing drip edge (very inexpensive) above your storm door where it attaches to the casing. caulk the seems and I think you will be good to go. When you cut the drip edge to fit, you may want to take a file and just go over the cut edge to dull the sharp edge. the drip edge can also be primed and painted to match to storm door. Hope it helped.
